1. 100 Club Lottery


As you will appreciate, it takes not only a significant amount of time to run a junior football club, but a lot of money too! The Club is committed to ensuring that we provide our members with some of the best facilities in the County, but this comes at a cost.
We are therefore delighted to announce that the Club has created a 100 Club Lottery to fundraise for our Club whilst our members could be in a with a chance to win a prize each month.

Our new fundraising campaign aim is to foremost help the club funding for our end of year presentation night. Under the current climate and rising costs it unfortunate that our subs alone cannot always cover the things the club host throughout the season and also additional things we need, from training materials, goals, repairs/alterations etc that will not only benefit the club, the children but the communities too.

By joining the BWJFC 100 Club you can help ensure that the Club & its offerings remain some of the best in the local community as well as having a chance to win cash prizes every month!
The Burnbridge Wanderers 100 Club is a small society lottery and is open to all club members, their friends and family. As a small society lottery you have to be invited to join, you will be allocated a number and your tickets are not transferable.

Please note that you have to be 16 or over to join.

Each month:
There is a draw for 50% of the income. The draw will take place on the first Wednesday of each month from November 2023 to August 2024. This amount is divided between the lucky winners
The fund is made up as follows :

  • For example, if we have 100 members the income for that month will be £200
  • 50% will be used as the prize fund e.g. £100 split into three prizes, as shown in the table below, according to ticket sales.
  • Prizes in the table are worked on the lowest number of sales in that range. Should more numbers be sold, then that portion of the funds will be held and added to a super draw at the end of Season.
  • You may buy more than one number per month
  • Payment is 10 months in advance (£2 per number, per monthly draw)
  • Player can enter throughout the year on a pro-rata cost.
  • The more people who buy a subscription – the higher the prize money, so please encourage people to get involved!

Burnbridge Wanderers FC – 100 Club Rules

  • The subscription to the 100 Club for one number shall be £20 per club season, payable annually in advance by Bank Transfer (details will be provided upon application or request), other methods are available. This will give members one number which will be placed in 10 draws (i.e. cost is £2 per month). Members may have and are encouraged to have multiple subscriptions if they wish.
  • Anybody over 16 years of age can become a member of the 100 Club and you are encouraged to get family and friends to join. The 100 Club will initially be limited to 100 members. The more numbers we sell, the bigger the prizes!
  • There is no provision to opt in/out on a month by month basis. The normal 100 club year will start in SEPTEMBER and run for 10 months until JUNE, except 2023 where it starts later in NOVEMBER and run until AUGUST 2024.
  • Members joining after the start of the usual 100 Club membership year will be charged a pro-rata amount for the rest of the year and entered in the next available draw following payment.
  • A member is eligible for inclusion in the draw so long as the subscription for that month has been paid. A member's number is not transferrable.
  • Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 100 club if his or her renewal of subscription remains unpaid for a period of one month.
  • Each member is allocated a permanent number in the monthly draw. This number shall remain the member’s provided their subscription is up to date.
  • Members wishing to leave the 100 club will do so at the end of the club membership for that year. Refunds will not be given for people wishing to withdraw before the year end.
  • New members will be admitted when numbers become available. A waiting list will be kept and numbers will be offered to the first person on the list.
  • There shall be one prize draw per month. The draw for each month shall be made on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month at a committee meeting.
  • Numbers will be generated by an online number generator.
  • Results of the draw will be posted on our webpage and within our Club Facebook Group. Winners will also be notified via their registered contact email
  • Monthly prizes will be awarded according to membership of the 100 Club or that month as follows:
  • 50% of the month’s net payments shall make up the prize fund.
  • The prize fund will be paid out each month as 3 prizes where stated as per the prize matrix table shown above, according to ticket sales each month.
  • Prizes in the table are worked on the lowest number of sales in that range. Should more numbers be sold, then that portion of the funds will be held and added to a super draw at the end of Season.
  • The remaining 50% of the net payments will be allocated to Club's current account.
  • Only one prize can be won per number per draw.
  • The allocation of numbers and draw results will be available from the 100 club administrator upon request. This information, along with updates, will be placed on the Club website 100CLUB page & FB Group Page.
  • The 100 Club administrator will pay the winners within a reasonable period after the monthly draw by Bank Transfer.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into the Club's funds after 6 months of the winning draw.
  • The decision of the Committee shall be final in all matters.
  • The Committee shall have the power to amend or revoke these rules at their absolute discretion with such reasonable notice to the 100 Club members as is necessary.
