Your Manager Harriet Jones along with coach Alex welcome you to the team and hope that you enjoy what we offer.

Burnbridge Wanderers Girls’ Football will provide local girls in Secondary School, years 7-11 or aged 11 to 16, with regular opportunities to play football. The initiative offers organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment created exclusively for girls.

We train and play as 11-a-side teams which will be managed & coached by Harriet & Alex.

The team play in the Somerset Girls League for this season . We also play friendly matches across the county.

Girls’ Football sessions take place on a weekly basis, either after school or at weekends, and provide a safe environment where girls can try football for the first time.
Burnbridge Wanderers JFC hope the initiative will inspire participants to engage with football, meet new friends, develop fundamental skills, learn new things and create the foundation for a lifelong love of football.

Summer - 1st April - Mid September.
Our sessions will run weekly on a Tuesday from 6:30pm-7:30pm on The King Alfred School Fields, TA9 3EE.

Winter - Mid September - 31st March.
Our sessions will run weekly on a Tuesday from 8:00pm-9:00pm on The King Alfred School Astro, TA9 3EE.

Sessions at King Alfreds will include:

• A friendly environment
• FA qualified coaches
• Fun activities
• Football-led sessions
• Chance to meet new friends

Our Girls team will utilise our existing club qualified coaches and local facilities.

2023/2024 Season - There are currently NO player vacancies at this time. Our team for the new season is full already due to high demand.
