All persons shall be eligible to become members of the Club. Playing members shall be required to meet the relevant age criteria; the operative date for which shall be the 1st September of any one Playing Season.
Applications for membership as a player will be openly considered during the closed season. During the Playing season, applications for membership as a player (particularly on a transfer basis from other football clubs), will be subject to the discretion of the Management Committee and only after acceptance has been made by the parent(s) of the applicant player. The Club policy shall be to discourage players registered with other football clubs from joining Burnbridge Wanderers/Warriors Junior Football Club, in order to foster a spirit of loyalty among junior players.
Membership of the Club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport on application regardless of sex, age (within the specified age groups), disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs. However, limitation of membership according to available facilities / team number limits is allowable on a non-discriminatory basis.

Membership costs or "Subs" at Burnbridge Wanderers JFC are structured in a way so the club can offer a consistent level for all its teams and allow anyone from the community to participate and enjoy sport.
All teams and players are treated the same and get the same facilities and training opportunities from the club.

Therefore we have a Membership structure as below currently in place, club payment is via our payment partner GoCardless:

Membership Fees:

After successful registration, and at the start of each season, your first initial payment is taken. This covers club and league membership registration, Somerset FA affiliation & insurance.

Following this there are monthly payments usually made over the remaining 7 months and covers team kit, general pitch, match & referee fees, maintenance and other club running costs.

Under 6 Group - Free
Under 7 - Under 18 - General Sub, £148 per annum

Players also joining from January in the playing season would be subject to Half Subs.

General subs to be paid by GoCardless. Example for 1 child/player:
Monthly - £18.50 immediate initial payment followed by £18.50 x 7 months from Oct OR;
Bi-Annual - £18.50 immediate initial payment followed by £64.75 in September and £64.75 in December. OR;
Annual - One Off immediate up front payment of £148.

All fees are passed at the Annual General Meeting; the player membership is paid on a yearly basis and entitles each player to participate in matches and yearly competitions.
